Modelling for degreasing the mining equipment downtime by optimizing blasting period at Erdenet surface mine

Erdenet copper-molybdenum deposit is the biggest one in world and has a significant impact on Mongolian society economy. Today LIEBHERR-994B hydraulic shovels from Germany, electric including EKG-10 EKG-15 Russia operate for mining works, dump truck BelAZ - 75130 used transportation. The causes of shovel downtime are classified as technical, technological, organizational. During study period, 41% total excavator’s park was 45% 11% organizational downtime. For shovels, 7% technological due to blasting, trucks 8.7%. In open-pit mining, blasting performed weekly basis, so duration this can be considered almost constant. If time between blasts or period arranged optimally, it will possible reduce equipment’s blasting.
